He needs to lie down and keep still to stop the bleeding and recover from the dizziness
Lying down is not going to help - now your patient is no longer responding, he's lost consciousness..
You need to act fast!
He needs a blood transfusion
He needs an injection of saline solution

Have you forgotten your training? We might have done this in 1915, but not now in 1918!
WWI revolutionized the practice of blood transfusions and they were common in 1918. Earlier in the war, before the innovations brought by Canadian and American doctors, medical personnel would inject a saline solution in hopes that it would raise blood pressure and alleviate the symptoms of shock. It was not very effective.
