Activity objectives

This activity is suitable for all grade levels. It is part of experiential learning and is consistent with trauma-sensitive pedagogy. A Remembrance Day assembly serves as a commemoration for troops and veterans, both past and present. For students, it can also be an opportunity to learn about the service of a loved one, remember someone who has passed away, or reflect on current events. To this end, Remembrance Day can be a day that evokes many emotions for your students.

Through this activity, our goal is to provide a place for students to gather, exchange ideas, and listen to each other so that they can share their opinions, stories, and emotions.
